The Scruffy City Shootout began in 2017 as a cross-ice Mite hockey tournament that has grown in popularity to become one of the Southeast regions favorite events for 8U players.

In 2018 we added 10U and 12U divisions and then a 2nd event across MLK weekend that included 10U through 16U as we continue to grow in the Scruffy City!

 Our primary hockey rink is Cool Sports @ 110 Watt Rd South in Knoxville, TN just minutes from the popular Turkey Creek shopping centers, Top Golf and more.

The Summer Shootout is a brand new event for 2023. We welcome A, AA and AAA spring/summer programs to the Scruffy City for a competitive, organized and fun environment for players and families. Great hotels, awesome local things to do and awesome hockey.
